Our butlins

I’ve just got back from our four day hoilday and I must say I wish I had read the reviews before I went.

Apart from the the kids having a good time, and myself and husband being their chaparones. I can truly say Butlins is an experience I would not like to go through again.

I would like to add to the list of complaints that rooms are not cleaned on Wednesday’s acording to the house keeper. Which meant our room not clean properly on the Thursday, no vacum, bathroom not clean, cups not wash etc, etc and yes I did complain.

I would advise anyone going to bring food or go into town which is only a 5/10 min drive and buy bread, rolls and make your own pack lunch as it will be cheaper and healthy.

More Butlins

After reading some of the reviews I was dreading my stay at Butlins, but after my stay I was glad I went.

We stayed in the Deluxe app. and it was clean and had everything we needed. Also very nice to park right outside.

There was plenty for our 2 children to do all through the day and several of the evening shows were good also. The only problem is that we did want to see some of the evening shows – Madness and the Queen tribute acts but they were on too late, a late night nursery service every night would be good not just one night.

The food hall was very clean and there was plenty of food to choose from, breakfast and dinner. The staff were very polite and helpful. We found that by going to eat as they opened it was not like a zoo as other people have mentioned. Yes you do get the odd animal that fills its trough as high as a mountain then leaves it – but they have paid for it!.

I would definitely go again!
